Wireless fail

Dear readers,

Unfortunately, the Interwebs were plotting against your favourite bloggers this afternoon. Although we were all at the BOA, the wireless network in the Senate room is horrible and we couldn't liveblog.

We took notes, though! We are good students!

So, I bring you...

(Not-so) LiveBlogging the BOA! February Edition

1:05 Meeting begins
Seamus is wearing khakis and a button down shirt. He is looking quite spiffy.

1:20 Exec Updates

Joël - The movie for the Dive In has been revealed! They'll be playing Jaws. Secret plans include putting fake body parts in the pool. This is going to be epic. Can't wait for the pool to look like this.

Danika - International Week was pretty awesome. The Fed will be posting pictures soon.

Julie - Campus Print is reviewing their prices, and finally reviewing their interface. Maybe it'll actually be userfriendly.
Translation service is short staff members, so things are kind of hectic. Maybe that explains this?

Seamus - Lots and lots of new campaigns...Notable ones are the Remembrance Day campaign for academic amnesty on Nov 11, and the Task for On Campus Racism. If you are interested in the latter, they are meeting on Thursday at 6pm in the SFUO office. Could be interesting.

Roxanne - Was just appointed Provincial Treasurer for CFS-O. Go team. SFUO is starting to prepare their hiring list for next year, so stay tuned if y'all want a job.

Deaner - OC Transpo strike is over ("Fuck yea!" from one Rob Arntfeld). Dean is sending a letter re: the U-Pass. It would be smart for them to go through with this now, since it'll secure some revenue for OCtranspo.
