Seamus is having a fun time. Chat him up after the debates. He might buy you a beer... He mentions he has theemes! Transparency, community, some other thing! Realizes he only has 30 seconds left....starts rushing.
Steeves says he'll do an amazing job. He will make sure we all become BFFs.
RPG: I have solid things i want to do! (that's what she said). Says something about little pandas.
Kelly: I dont like politicians (uhm, you're running in an ELECTION). Talks about how if you "speak out" at this university, you suffer the consequences. (ok, so are you running becuase you want to represent us, or so you can talk about Rancourt and your "struggle against the machine"?)

this blog has made my afternoon! i wish my classroom had internet so i could've been reading this during class!
i heart you guys!
omg. this was great.
too much beer. good thing my uber intense debate was before 11am.
Man, that was fun.
In summary:
Seamus: to take care of big publicity causes that effect a minor amount of students, but they need someone for them too. Big plans for future students of uOttawa, but doesn't really help the majority.
Steve: definetly a marketing student, may be in this for his resume, but if he is he'd probably try to do as good as possible so it means something on a resume.
RPG: we need to do little things around campus for students and gain the respect of the admin and board. Basically, a campaign for small, tangible differences that students will be able to see soon such as 24hr library, but nothing catastrophic that will change your impressions or experience at uOttawa.
Kelly: Revolution! "The administration should do nothing more than rubber stamping and pushing pens." Profs and Deans should not have the right to organize their classrooms. Students should democratically make their syllabus on first day. "All these other candidates are politicians in this for their own gains and own personal reasons."
Really Mr. Kelly? Seems strange for someone to say when they've started a platform against Alan Rock after being kicked off of uOttawa property by Alan Rock. Stay out of my email jackass!
