Recording Policy - apparently videotaping is an issue on our campus
- Dean proposes a motion of policy: anyone can tape the BOA as long as they have not gone in camera. Wants the board to be proactive with this issue since it has been an issue for other governing bodies

vote: passes! second reading RIGHT NOW!
- Dick: isn t is illegal to bind the board to agree to being videotaped? Supreme know-it-all Federico says it s legal.
- Mel: could Zoom videotape for transparency?
- Julie: she will look into it, but she s not sure - it would take up a lot of space on the server
- Michael: we have members of the BOG and Senate, we can ask them ‘what are those policies?’
- (Instead,)Dean: they are working out a policy right now
- Rob: we re not voting that it WILL be done, but that it could be... question: would this start next year? so that people would be prepared when they run for the BOA?
- Nacho-Supreme Know-it-all Dean: no, would be immediate
- Cheevers: ....... cannot recall his question. (*blogger makes ironic face - disdained!)
- Cam: wishes to amend the motion so that this be effective as of next year’s mandate (May 1st)
- Dean: against amendment cuz we be bloggin’ his ass (?).

Federico is asked to speak louder and decides to transfer the problem and tells everyone to stop chattering. Are we a wee bit defensive, mr chair?
- Jonathan: brings forward the amendment that those of the public wishing to videotape the meetings must identify themselves beforehand
- Cheevers calls the question. as usual.
straight to a vote on the amendment? yes
- amendment? PASSES
- Motion now includes the requirement of identification by the videotapers (everyone is hung up on ID tonight!)
Faris calls the question for the motion - not really necessary since no placards are up - ‘that s cool too’ (we are pretty sure he just wanted to be cool like the Cheeve)
