Interesting...another constitution fail?

8.3.1
The Student Arbitration Committee is composed of nine bilingual arbitrators who are members of the Federation and who meet the following criteria:
two (2) Common Law students
two (2) Civil Law students
one (1) Administration student
four (4) students in faculties other than the ones mentioned above, with no more than two arbitrators per faculty.

The new arbitrators: Ali Abdourhaman (Social Sciences), Charles-Antoine Gosselin (Management), Christopher Schulz (Common Law), Dave Davis (Droit Civil), Michelle Nadeau (Management).

Apparently Management falls under "Administration"...and according to the constitution, there can only be one student from that faculty on the SAC. All of the arbitrators were ratified on Sunday at the BOA during an in-camera session, so we don't have any info on how/why they were chosen. We were stuck outside eating pizza.

Which one, Anon?

Quote Facebook: "Anon, your only friend in common with both of the management arbiters is Khadijah Kanji"

Oh good.

Perhaps they're trying to force an appeal, which could lead to prolonged stalling. I hope someone punches Dean in the mouth.

I've done the metaphoric punching by signing the appeal petition... http://www.petitiononline.com/UO0309/petition.html

...you can too.

We were also told the same thing about an arbitrator being a friend of Khadija's and that the arbitrator was a girl.

Cheers to that!
