Faris doesn t think we have the technology - two Board members are quick to point out that a humble blogger has manged to live feed THIS very meeting! Oh, the joys of technology.
At the close of the meeting Mr. Haldenby approached me, called me the wrong name. I quiped that there are only 30000 of us, he shoudl at least now names by now. Told him my name, he mentioned he looked at my blog. Before he could say anything else I told him I was very disappointed in the outcome the meeting, said something else abotu it and he walked away thanking me for my opinion.
Unfortunately, since I feel as though the SAC hearing be open to the public, I would not even work the feed for them at all. I hope I am free and able to attend the viewing of the hearing though.
According to the "motion" they have to. Except, it has to be someone who is allowed to be in there. So I guess Alex Chaput (who works for Zoom) could do it while he is a Plaintiff? lolz
The original raison-d'être of this blog was to liveblog the Board of Administration meetings and let students know about all of the crazy shit that goes down.
However, the promise of iPods influenced us to stray from this path for a bit to cover the 2009 SFUO elections. Since then, we've been covering a bit of everything SFUO-related.
If you've got tips about exciting things on campus, let us know by emailing us at boavoice.blog@gmail.com.
