BOA Voice has come across an email that was sent to Caroline Poisson, Chief Arbitrator for the SAC.
A student was sent a forward of the documents the defendants are putting together for the appeal, and brought forward some concerns regarding the documents.
From the email:
I hope that you notice while right clicking on the word documents and select properties, you notice that many of these documents were either created by 'jlarose' or last saved by 'jlarose' (assuming that this is Joel Larose of the current SFUO executive) and that the computers on which many of these documents were written/created are SFUO property (named 'SFUO IT' or 'SFUO Inc'). It disturbs me that they are using SFUO resources to write the documents defending themselves. Whether this was done on SFUO time or not, this was done using SFUO resources, paid for by the students and this was wrong.
I have cc'd the SFUO president, Dean Haldenby, so that he is aware of this and hopefully takes action to rectify this issue. Prior to, during and now even afterwards, Roxanne Dubois, Seamus Wolfe and Julie Séguin repeatedly used SFUO resources, most notably their SFUO blackberries and the SFUO computers, for their campaigns.
This upsets me very much and I hope that this is looked into by the SFUO president and considered by the SAC when researching the appeal.
Eep.
