I'm sorry, but politics have EVERYTHING to do with a decision like this. The BOA is a political board. Every person has their own political agenda and by no means are board members neutral.

There is a reason why the constitution asks for board members to be almost unanimously in agreement. It's not to cheat students out of a rightful appeal or just to be a dick. It's to ensure that people aren't treated differently just because they have friends in high places. SAC is far more impartial than the board and I think that needs to be respected.
