Marc Kelly is doing classroom presentations. He is apparently allowed on campus, just not permitted on the 2nd floor of TBT.
HOW EXCITING.

Wow within 10 minutes of my text being sent saying Marc Kelly is doing a "presentation" in my class its already a blog article, breaking news at that!
Note: Professor is not here yet.
His "presentation" and I say that with quotations because he wanted to have a discussion, so he starts talking and people don't really pay attention. I think 2 people were apart of his discussion while everyone kinda did their own thing. He talked about class syllabus', and you paying for school, and some other blah blah, didn't really listen, maybe he should email his platform to people. After a minute or two of Marc Kelly speaking, Tyler Steeves, another candidate for president walks in. along with the prof right after. Prof finally cuts off Kellys waste of my time discussion. The Prof then says, "as you know this is a class, and we have to move on. and there is another candidate" Tyler Steeves does a presentation, well done, some good points, then questioned by a girl apparently promoting Millenium Village because her question last 5 minutes, and then after tyler saying 5 words, she starts speaking again about Carleton and others, and something about a latte. She should have done her own presentation. Tylers response was along the lines of the president shouldn't take stances on certain things. Someone comments on millenium girls point by saying something about spending over $1000 on absolut vodka or something. not quite sure, so why support MV. Everyone laughed. I laughed to conform becuase I wasn't really paying attention. (i think thats something Marc Kelly wouldn't like)
The original raison-d'être of this blog was to liveblog the Board of Administration meetings and let students know about all of the crazy shit that goes down.
However, the promise of iPods influenced us to stray from this path for a bit to cover the 2009 SFUO elections. Since then, we've been covering a bit of everything SFUO-related.
If you've got tips about exciting things on campus, let us know by emailing us at boavoice.blog@gmail.com.
